Cranio Sacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle hands-on massaging technique and a holistic approach to heal and balance the body’s craniosacral system which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

It is developed by John Upledger, an osteopathic physician in the 1970s. CST is based on the concept that the cerebrospinal fluid rhythmically pulses throughout the body and that restrictions in the system can lead to various health issues.

During a session the practitioner uses a light touch, to evaluate and address any restrictions or imbalances in the craniosacral system. The therapist may focus on the skull, face, spine and pelvis to detect and address areas of restriction.

CST is believed to help Chronic pains, Migraines, emotional difficulties and more

By releasing restrictions in the craniosacral system, It aims to improve the functioning of the central nervous system, enhance the body’s ability to self-heal and promote overall health and well-being.
